Giorgio Lari sviluppò il suo percorso artistico vicino al gruppo torinese dell’Arte Povera, inserendo la fotografia tra le differenti tecniche espressive utilizzate nelle sue opere. La sua carriera di fotografo di moda risale all’inizio degli anni ‘80, con una monografia su di sé e sui suoi fratelli, pubblicata da L’UOMO VOGUE, che lo legò per lungo tempo alla Condé Nast e, durante tutto il decennio, con studio a Milano, New York e Parigi, collabora con le più importanti riviste internazionali e firma numerose Campagne pubblicitarie sulle due sponde dell’Atlantico. Nei primi anni ‘90, mettendo a frutto la sua esperienza artistica e fotografica, affronta altricampi fra cui l’architettura e il design e realizza, come fotografo, diversi volumi delle GRANDI OPERE di Mondadori. Già presidente e direttore artistico della Pixelway dal 1994 al 2009, mantiene oggi gli stessi ruoli nel nostro Studio, continuando la sua attività di fotografo, illustratore e digital artist. Numerosi i premi nazionali e internazionali.
Giorgio Lari developed his artistic pathway by being involved in the “Arte Povera” group from Turin and inserted photography amongst the various expressive techniques used in his work. His career as a fashion photographer started at the beginning of the 80’s, with a monograph about himself and his brothers that was published in L’UOMO VOGUE, and which united him, for a long time, to the Condé Nast group. Over the following ten years, with studios in Milan, New York and Paris, he collaborated with the most important International magazines and signed numerous advertising campaigns on both sides of the Atlantic. During the early 90’s, exploiting his artistic and photography experiences, he addressed other areas including architecture and design and published, as a photographer, various volumes of the Mondadori “GRANDI OPERE”. Having covered the role of president and creative director of Pixelway from 1994 until 2009, he still maintains the same roles in our studio, continuing in his profession of photographer, illustrator and digital artist. Many National and International hawards won.
